Some flowers simply refuse to blend into the background.
Big, bold and gloriously pink, this one was always going to be the centre of attention. I love what happens when you look at a flower really close up — the petals become shapes, the colours become more intense and the whole thing starts to feel almost abstract.
Painted in thick palette knife oils, Drama Queen is packed with texture, layers of pink, raspberry and plum, surrounded by fresh, lively greens. She's colourful, confident and just a little bit showy — exactly as she should be.
Perfect for bringing a bold splash of colour, joy and personality to a hallway, bedroom, living space or anywhere that could handle a little drama.
Original oil painting — 33 x 33 x 5 cm, framed in timber.
