I paint with bold, joyful colour because I love the energy it creates.
The way colours bounce off one another. The thick, textured marks of the palette knife catching the light and changing as you move around the painting.
For me, a painting should do more than fill a wall. It should bring something into a room — colour, joy, energy and a little lightness.
My paintings are created instinctively, with layers of rich oil paint and plenty of texture. There’s no holding back and no hesitation.
I want you to feel that when you live with one.
A little lift every time you walk into the room.
