I never really know what’s going to turn up on the canvas. And that’s exactly how I like it.
When I start an abstract painting, there’s no finished picture in my head and no plan I’m trying to follow.
I start with colour, add a mark, respond to it and see where it takes me. Some things stay, others disappear completely under another layer of paint, and somewhere along the way the painting begins to find its own direction.
Anything’s Possible is a celebration of that freedom.
Everyone will see something different in it — a shape, a figure, a memory, perhaps something I’ve never noticed myself. There’s no right or wrong interpretation. I’d much rather you decide what it means to you.
A completely original, richly textured painting created with colour, intuition and a sense of possibility.
