There are so many beautiful headlands around Sydney where I can stand watching the ocean for far longer than I intended. There’s something hypnotic about it — the movement, the colour, the sunshine and the waves crashing against the rocks below.
Just One More Wave captures one of those moments.
Painted in thick palette knife oils, turquoise and deep ocean blues tumble into layers of foaming white, contrasting against the warm earthy rocks. I wanted the texture of the paint to capture that wonderful wildness of the water — constantly moving and never quite the same twice.
A small but energetic original for bringing a little piece of Sydney’s coastline, colour and freedom into your home.
