The inspiration for this painting was started by a photograph from the plane heading to America, i started with the image then intuition takes over and I start to construct from the inner and not from my outer eyes. This style of painting is more of an intuitive experience of being in the flow. I start the creative process with a loose idea of what the finished artwork will look like and I just let the painting evolve naturally by guiding the paint, making marks and developing the symbolic imagery that spontaneously emerges on the canvas.
